On July 1, 2020, the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced an order requiring universal face coverings to help fight the spread of COVID-19. This order included mandatory face coverings for all K-12 students in public and private schools under the Pennsylvania Department of Education. This order forced schools and school boards to require the mask order within their health and safety reopening plans regardless of how they worked to spread out their classrooms or adjust for class sizes. The Pennsylvania Department of Health started tracking COVID-19 deaths on March 18, 2020. Since then not one child under the age of 20 has died from the COVID-19 virus. According to CDC.gov, most children with COVID-19 have mild symptoms or have no symptoms at all. There is also mounting evidence that universal masking of healthy individuals does not actually help slow the spread of the virus. Pennsylvania Parents Protecting Children believes the universal masking of school age children poses a significant risk to children’s health, psychological development, and is harmful to their immune system. Our group of concerned parents is taking the fight to Health Secretary Levine and the Health Department under Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to end this mandate.
There is also growing concern about forced vaccinations with a vaccine that is still considered experimental and not fully FDA approved for non-emergency use.
We are advocating on behalf of parents who know best for their children’s health.
We are Pennsylvania Parents Protecting Children.
